Abe’s Auto Service, Inc. was started in 1966 by Albert “Abe” Edwards as a service station with two employees and one truck. David, his son, joined the business in 1992 and has since helped the business through its fortunate growth into three locations, two in Chambersburg and one in Shippensburg, PA. We are so proud of the growth we’ve made, as it enables our ability to better serve the community we cherish. Abe’s now has nine work bays, 12 trucks and 13 full-time employees, quite the difference from the two-man operation it started with.

Even though the company has grown, we have strived to keep Abe’s Auto Service, Inc. as a family-owned and operated small business. Although Abe is no longer with us, Abe’s Auto Service, Inc. will always belong to Abe and his original vision for professional and friendly towing and auto service. David hopes to always give the honor and respect to his late father for the faith and guts it took to start this business giving it the incredible foundation we continue to grow upon. Proving true one of our family motto’s “A Father’s Dream and a Son’s Future.”
